He is also the director of China Marxist Philosophy History Society, the executive director and deputy secretary-general of Jiangsu Philosophy Society, the special researcher of the Marxist Literature Collection Research Center of the Central Compilation Bureau, the part-time researcher of the Institute of Marxist Philosophy and China Modernization of Sun Yat-sen University, and the part-time researcher of the Western Marxist Research Center of China University of Political Science and Law. From 2003 to 2008, he was engaged in postdoctoral research in the history postdoctoral mobile station of Nanjing University. In 2006, he won the Young Teacher Award (second prize) of Fok Ying Tung Education Foundation. In 2008, he was selected as an outstanding young backbone teacher of "Blue Project" in Jiangsu Province. From September to October, 2009, he served as a senior visiting researcher (Huaying scholar) in the Political Department of the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom.
