Brief introduction of lujia big house
Lujia Mansion, also known as Jinyutang, located in the lobby lane, was the residence of Lu Jiu, a Macao businessman in the early 20th century (his private garden, Lulianruo Park, is one of the scenic spots in Macao). Completed around 1889, it is a precious Chinese-style building in Macao and a part of the "historic city of Macao". Now it is managed and restored by the Cultural Bureau. Some of them have been opened to the outside world.

China News Service, Macau, August 29th (Reporter Huang Hongbin) In order to cooperate with the inclusion of "Macao's historic city" in the World Heritage List, the Cultural Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region partially opened Lujia Building for one month, so that residents and tourists can visit it and learn about its historical value and architectural features. In the past month, there were 1 1 000 tourists, including local tourists, Hong Kong tourists and tourists from the Pearl River Delta, as well as tourists from the Mainland, Taiwan Province Province, Mongolia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Europe and the United States. The visit was very enthusiastic.

Yang Yongyu, the heritage ambassador who is a tour guide of the big house, said that since the opening up, hundreds of people have visited it every day on average, especially those from Hong Kong and the mainland. In addition, you will meet different tourists from all over the world every day. From the first day to now, the number of people waiting in line to visit has not decreased, and the first week is the most enthusiastic. The most unforgettable thing is that the Czech couple took a notebook and drew the layout of the big house. They also say that Macao is more attractive than neighboring regions. Lujia Mansion is the former residence of Lu, a famous Australian businessman. According to the year of the poem inscribed on the cornice of the left atrium, Lujia Mansion was completed in the 15th year of Guangxu (1889). The mansion is made of blue bricks, imitating the layout of xiguan big house, Guangzhou. It is two stories high. It is one of the few complete luxury buildings in China. Lujia mansion, like other Xiguan mansions, is exquisitely decorated. The interior combines Chinese and western decorative materials and techniques, including brick carvings, gray carvings, horizontal curtains, hanging windows and oyster shell windows common in central Guangdong, as well as western-style fake ceilings, full-man windows and cast iron railings. The two kinds of characteristic decorations are combined into one furnace, which is full of fun and interesting, and embodies the architectural characteristics of Macao residential buildings with the combination of Chinese and western.

Due to the enthusiasm for visiting, the Cultural Bureau decided to extend the opening hours of the big house from September 1 Sunday to1February 18, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays, and from1February 19 to 3 1 Sunday, with 9 am every day.
