Chen (192 1-), alias Chen Zepu, is a famous scholar, theorist, painter and calligrapher in China. 1946 graduated from the western painting department of the National Art Institute. 1948 participated in the revolutionary work, 1955 engaged in artistic creation and theoretical research in Hubei branch of American Association. Director of creative research department of Hubei Artists Association, first-class artist. The work "We Are the Masters" won the third prize of National New Year Pictures Creation and was collected by China Art Museum. Printmaking has participated in all previous national printmaking exhibitions and socialist national plastic arts exhibitions. 1980 and began to study calligraphy theory. He has published nearly 400 articles in national calligraphy newspapers and periodicals. Lun Shu Qi won the theoretical prize of the first Lanting Calligraphy Award in China, and was once hired as the first academic member by the Academic Committee of China Calligraphy Association. In 2002, he was awarded the title of "Member of Virtue and Art" by China Book Association.
