The discipline of water conservancy engineering in Taiyuan University of Technology is established to conform to the development of the times and serve the national economy and people's livelihood. The discipline of water conservancy engineering in Taiyuan University of Technology was founded in 1958. After more than 50 years of school-running practice, especially the construction of the national "2 1 1 Project" in recent ten years, the discipline level has been significantly improved. 1998 hydraulics and river dynamics were approved as key construction disciplines in Shanxi province; In 2000, the discipline was authorized by the master's degree of engineering in the field of hydraulic engineering, and became one of the earliest training units for the master's degree of engineering 14 in China. In 2005, the discipline was authorized by the first-class master of hydraulics and river dynamics and Dr. two disciplines; In 2007, hydraulics and river dynamics were approved as key disciplines in Shanxi Province. 20 10 won the first-class degree in hydraulic engineering.
