Xinzi Hong is a world-famous avant-garde dancer and ascetic. Yu Shuming 1940 was born in Korea, and studied in the United States after graduating from the English Department of Women's University.

At the age of 27, Xinzi Hong turned from an English major to dancing. At the age of 33, he became famous on the stage in new york, USA. However, just as her fame rose, she quietly left new york for India and accepted a strict asceticism, which was shocking again. She became the first artist in Korean art history to voluntarily accept asceticism. Three years later, Xinzi Hong returned to American dance, which attracted great attention.

In order to concentrate on the meditation of Taoist seekers, she went to the crater forest of Hawaii island alone and lived a hermit life there.
