She is a China women's basketball player and plays for WCBA Inner Mongolia women's basketball team. On 20 18, Zhang Ru began to participate in WCBA League, and played for the Henan women's basketball team and the Inner Mongolia women's basketball team successively. In the 20021-22 season, Zhang Ru helped the Inner Mongolia women's basketball team win the championship and was selected as this season's all-star team.
