N088 10/INCOLOY 800H is an austenitic heat-resistant alloy widely used in high-temperature pressure-bearing structures. The high strength of N088 10/INCOLOY 800H is mainly due to the addition of carbon, aluminum and titanium, and the annealing at the lowest temperature of 1 149℃ reaches the grain size of ASTM 5 or more.
In order to avoid grain boundary cracking caused by stress relaxation of N088 10/INCOLOY 800H weldment above 538℃, it is necessary to conduct post-weld heat treatment at 899℃, keep the temperature for one hour (at least half an hour /25mm thick) according to the material thickness, and then air-cool.

800H is a face-centered cubic lattice structure. Extremely low carbon content and improved Ti:C ratio increase the stability, maximum sensitivity and intergranular corrosion resistance of the structure. Low temperature annealing at about 950℃ ensures fine grain structure.
N088 10/Incoloy 800H Corrosion resistance:
800H can resist the corrosion of various corrosive media. Its high nickel content makes it have good stress corrosion cracking resistance under water corrosion conditions. The high chromium content makes it have better resistance to pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion cracking. The alloy has good corrosion resistance to nitric acid and organic acid, but its corrosion resistance in sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid is limited. In addition to the possibility of pitting corrosion in halides, it has good corrosion resistance in oxidizing and non-oxidizing salts. It also has good corrosion resistance in water, steam and the mixture of steam, air and carbon dioxide.
