Yongqing county. Grand Master Li Lanting was born in han cun, Hancun Town, Yongqing County. Li Lanting (1888— 1955), formerly known as Li Yutian, was born in han cun, Hancun Town, Yongqing County. He is the founder of Li School, a Beijing opera martial artist, an outstanding Beijing opera performer and opera educator in China. Li Lanting was born in a poor family, seldom went to the pear garden, and worked hard to become a martial arts expert on par with Mei Lanfang, Zhou and Zhou.
