Brief introduction of Yu Tianfang.
Yu Tianfang (1908- 1967) is from Hulan, Heilongjiang. 193 1 * * Joined China. Later, he served as Secretary of CPC Tsinghua University Branch and Secretary of CPC Qiqihar Teke. War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression served as director of the Political Department of the Anti-Union Division. During the War of Liberation, he served as deputy commander of the Heilongjiang Military Region, speaker of the Senate of Heilongjiang Province and president of the court of Heilongjiang Province. After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), he served as deputy political commissar of Heilongjiang Military Region of China People's Liberation Army, deputy governor of Heilongjiang Province, second secretary and commissioner of Mudanjiang District Committee of the Communist Party of China, vice chairman of Heilongjiang Provincial Political Consultative Conference and president of Heilongjiang University. He was persecuted during the "Cultural Revolution". 1967 died on May 3rd. After the Cultural Revolution, a memorial service was organized to rehabilitate him.
