There is a simple reason.
When the examiner chooses the candidates for the interview.
Most of them are faced with a huge number of resumes. At least I have had one person from 300 resumes.
Take out the painful experience of 50 interviews.
So I recommend you to apply with a simple and clear resume.
And try to avoid individuals using PPT or even PS to do resumes. I feel that there are very few examiners.
I like to open email attachments one by one and read your resume patiently after a long wait.

Then send a resume to your favorite company or employer.
