Li Ningping has not been sentenced. On August 4th, Gansu Provincial Procuratorate announced that Li Ningping (director level), former Party Secretary and Chairman of Gansu Electric Power Investment Group Co., Ltd., was suspected of taking bribes, abusing his power by state-owned company personnel, and the source of huge amount of property was unknown. The investigation was terminated by the Gansu Provincial Supervision Committee and transferred to the procuratorate for review and prosecution.
