There is no evidence to prove that Yu Rui's statement is wrong, and neither is Yu Rui. Yu Rui, Yi Ming and Yuan Mei all call the Grand View Garden the companion garden of Nanjing. On this basis, critics think that "Stone" is someone else, and Cao Xueqin is just a rewriter and "messenger", while debaters say that this statement is due to misunderstanding the preface and signature of Cao Xueqin in the first time of the original work.
