Brief introduction and address of Hu Die's former residence.
Former residence of Shanghai celebrities-former residence of Hu Die

Located at No.52, Lane (Qing Yu Square), Sichuan North Road 1906, it is a three-story building with brick and wood structure. The building area is 246 square meters. Hu Die (1908— 1989), whose real name is Bao Juan, was originally named Hu Ruihua. His ancestral home is Heshan, Guangdong. Hu Die lived here from 1924 to 1932. During this period, Hu Die successfully starred in films such as Autumn Fan Complain, Movie Heroine, Princess of Iron Fan, and starred in China's first audio film, The Singing Girl Red Peony. Hu Die's former residence is now a residential building.

Shanghai movies in the 1920s and 1930s created the first generation of movie stars in China. Their colorful screen careers and bumpy life experiences have become the imprint of history and remain in people's memory for a long time.

A few years ago, I traveled all over the streets to find the footprints of old Shanghai stars. To my surprise, almost all the memories of the people who were asked were concentrated on the simple names of the stars. However, Hu Die's profile, former residence and the past that left them seem to be just an evacuated memory. There is always a reason to forget. There's always a reason for lettering. Like, Ruan, Wang, Zhou Xuan, Zhao Dan and other famous stars in Shanghai, they should be remembered for their vivid screen image or brilliant artistic life, but what they should forget should be their unwillingness to bear.

The "Memorabilia of the Movie Queen Hu Die" published by 1933 includes an interview with Ms. Hu Die. In the interview, Hu Die said that her birthplace was "one lane and three lanes in Fuqing Lane of Shanghai Tilanqiao".

To confirm this anecdote, I came to Li Fuqing, Dongdaming Road near Tilanqiao. A person wandering on the bridge, confused is not only the feeling, but also the memory of yesterday. Along a wet slate alley, I walked into Fuqing Lane. What appeared in front of my eyes was an old Shikumen complex. Maybe it's because of disrepair. It may also be rainy. Those old houses look so old, gray, wet and a little messy. When I knocked on the "third house in the first lane" to explain my purpose, the owner told me that he had lived here for decades. He didn't know what Hu Die was before, but in recent years, more people have interviewed him, so it's natural.

Pay attention to Hu Die, the old Shanghai film winner. Tell the author that the movie queen Hu Die was really born in this house. Widowed in his later years,1died on April 23, 989 at the age of 8 1. The last words of the movie queen are: "The butterfly will fly away!"

As a butterfly, bats may be her lifelong temperament. Therefore, in Hu Die's short life, he moved to Tianjin, Northeast China, Beijing and Guangzhou. When Hu Die was sixteen, his family returned to Shanghai. First, they rented a house in Lu Heng (now Yuhang East Road), East of Li Deyu, and soon moved to No.52, Qing Yu Square, Sichuan North Road.

In order to find No.52 Qing Yu Square, I walked in Hongkou for a long time, and finally found Qing Yu Square on the opposite side of Celebrity Street on Duolun Road. This is a community composed of more than a dozen two-story Shikumen old houses. The doors are painted black, and the exterior walls are blue-gray and red brick. Give a brief introduction to Hu Die. If it is not the hint of the new house number, it is really difficult to tell which used to be No.52, where Hu Die lived. Afternoon, Old Hutongkou. Except for a few old people playing chess, everything else seems a little deserted. Walking alone in a deserted alley feels like walking into the play Seventy-two Tenants. Not only is the surrounding environment in a mess, but there seems to be a lot of unspeakable things.

Hu Die's former residence, No.52, is on the right side of the alley. This is an old Shikumen villa facing west and east. Because I heard an aunt washing clothes in an alley say that the owner of No.52 knew something about Hu Die, she rashly pushed open the door with black paint stains. To my surprise, when I mentioned Hu Die, the host repeatedly said that they didn't know and had never seen any Hu Die. After expressing my rudeness, I went back to the alley. Seeing my embarrassment, the washerwoman came to comfort me and said that the newspaper people came to interview her the other day. She talks too much and is bored. When I took the last shot for the camera and was ready to withdraw, a middle-aged woman (the owner's daughter) came out of No.52, perhaps to apologize for her mother's coldness just now. After exchanging pleasantries with me, she said, "Hu Die did live at No.52, but when we moved here, Hu Die had already left. So we have never seen Hu Die, but one thing is that Hu Die is famous from here, that's for sure ... ".

If Qing Yu Square witnessed the hardship of Hu Die, Guanghua witnessed the glory of Hu Die. 1 932 "one? After the February 28th Incident, Hu Die's family moved from Qing Yu Square to Guanghua Lane 13, Julaida Road (now Julaida Road) in the west. This is a two-bedroom western-style house with two rooms and a western-style alley. Although the house number is an ominous number in the eyes of westerners, after Hu Die moved here, his luck overlapped and he spent the most glorious period of his life. At the same time, there are three things that make Hu Die happy. The first thing is that the film Flower of Freedom won the prize, the second thing is to be elected as the "movie queen", and the third thing is to visit the Soviet Union and Europe.

Coming out of Qing Yu Square, I walked alone in a wet blue brick alley. Sunlight shines obliquely on the lintel of Shikumen through the dense branches and leaves of the French phoenix tree. Floating luster, like a dream halo in the smoky moon of old Shanghai. Although the carved flowers on the lintel are faintly visible, the once exquisite customs have already turned into a little breeze and the waning moon, hidden in the mottled and melancholy old Shanghai smoky moon. Although the carvings on the lintel are faintly visible, the once exquisite amorous feelings have already turned into a little breeze and waning moon, hiding in the disappointment of mottled walls, leaving a vicissitudes of life impression.

1933165438+1On October 23rd, Hu Die and Yau Sing Poon held a grand wedding in the Holy Trinity Hall at the Jiangxi intersection of Jiujiang Road. They set up a new home at No.29, Li Yong Village, Henry Road (now Xinle Road).

The sun is gradually setting, and Xinle Road, a fashionable street full of various brands of clothing stores, has become somewhat ambiguous and extravagant after experiencing bright daytime. Colorful neon lights, bizarre French buttonwood trees, dreamy or secret bars and restaurants are all irresistible temptations, which make me feel at a loss. In the old society, this road was called Henry Road, which belonged to the French Concession. The apartments and small houses here are full of European flavor without losing the oriental flavor. Li Yong Village is called "Shadow Village". Because Zhang Zhiyun, one of the four major movies in the 1920s, lived on the 8th. Zhanfei Gao and Gao Qianping, famous movie stars of Star Company, also live in 1 6 Lane. At that time, Yongli Village on Henry Road was a quiet alley with elegant environment. No.29, where Hu Die lives, is at the end of this hutong, and people can still see it now. Although the building has a good environment, it is not spacious and lacks some emotional appeal and attention. Perhaps it is for this reason that two years later, Hu Die and his wife moved to a western-style garden with a tennis court behind their house in Jiaozhou Road. Now This apartment has been demolished and replaced by a shop called "Prosthetic Simulation Center".
