2. The building has four floors above ground, the first to third floors are exhibition halls, and the fourth floor is VIP room and multifunctional exhibition hall. The building as a whole presents a strong national traditional style. The main entrance of the museum is made of pure wood structure, using more than 400 cubic meters of wood. The main building adopts the technology of grinding bricks and jointing, and the square in front of the museum adopts large blue bricks and soaked with tung oil. In the past, this method was only used by the royal family, and it was called "Hai Nan Dou Lou". When the museum was built, experts in carpentry, brick and painting who have been working in the Palace Museum since the founding of the People's Republic of China were invited. It can be said that the museum itself is a spectacular and precious handicraft, which is called "living national treasure" in the industry.
