Nanpiao, located in the northeastern mountainous area of Huludao, was once a national key coal mining county. After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), it has delivered a lot of energy to the national economic revitalization and social development, and made great contributions to national construction. Now, resources are exhausted, the environment is deteriorating and water resources are lost. Industrial workers who used to be in high spirits still live in low, damp and dark shanty towns, with inconvenient transportation, poor water and electricity and hard life. Walking out of the ravine and getting close to the sea has always been the biggest dream of Nanpiao people.

Under the cordial care of the provincial party committee, the provincial development and reform commission, the provincial housing construction committee and other departments, under the strong leadership of the municipal party committee, the municipal government, the municipal party committee and the CPPCC, and with the full support of the municipal departments and Lianshan District, Nanpiao New Town broke the historical convention, created a new model of affordable housing construction, and started construction quickly. The project covers an area of 1556 mu, with a total construction area of1170,000 square meters, including1150,000 square meters of residential buildings and supporting public buildings1550,000 square meters, totaling 40 1 building. The planned resettlement 199 new district project will arrange 72 10 square meters of new roads, 3,650 square meters of newly laid green space, 7,200 square meters of planned kindergartens, 55,324 square meters of land for nine-year compulsory education schools, 37,670 square meters of construction area and1988/kloc-0 square meters of hospital land.

In order to promote the smooth completion of the industrial and mining shed reform of Nanpiao New Town, Nanpiao District and all contractors have reversed the construction period, with high efficiency, high standards and strict requirements, and scientifically promoted the construction of the new town, ensuring that the foundation of the new town construction will be completed before August 15, the main body will be completed before June 10, and the construction will be completed before June 15.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Du Benwei congratulated Nanpiao New Town on behalf of the municipal party committee, municipal government, municipal party committee and CPPCC. Du Benwei said that the transformation of state-owned industrial and mining shanty towns is a major livelihood project and a major task. It is a major strategic decision made by the provincial party committee and the province * to completely complete the task of transforming state-owned industrial and mining shanty towns and ensure that they move in before the end of the year, and it is also the top priority of Huludao * this year. The renovation of Nanpiao New Town in Dayushan Park in Nanpiao District is a key project for the renovation of state-owned industrial and mining shanty towns in our city. It is also an important measure to solve the problems of narrow area, low total amount and limited development space in Nanpiao District and realize "offshore development and leapfrog development". The total construction area of Nanpiao New Town is1170,000 square meters, accounting for 44.7% of the industrial and mining shanty towns in the city. 19750 households will be resettled and nearly 70,000 people will be relocated. In other words, nearly 50% of Nanpiao residents will be resettled.
