When applying the star rules, it is important to highlight your initiative and contribution to the results, not just to describe your responsibilities or projects. The purpose of this method is to let recruiters see your value and how you can bring similar results to their company.
The star rule does not include all the information that may affect the success of job hunting. For example, it does not include personal characteristics, hobbies, education or experience unrelated to work. Although this information may be important in some cases, it is not the focus of STAR's law. The star rule focuses on showing your professional experience and achievements, rather than giving a comprehensive introduction to your personal life and interests.
