Fang Xingya's resume
The following is what I saw on the Internet! Is it really that bad?

Let me introduce myself first. I am a male, majoring in international economy and trade. When I was studying, I heard that customs declarers are more popular in society. At that time, considering that it was not easy to find a job after graduation, I was prepared to take a certificate to add some weight to my future employment. In 2002, I passed the customs declaration examination with a score of 138. I didn't expect this certificate to really become the starting point of my career.

My own quality is not low. I passed Band 6 as early as 0 1. In 2004, he passed the inspector's examination with a score of 83.5 (at that time, the total score of Volume A was only 106, and seven multiple-choice questions were missing). In April 2003, just before graduation, I found my first formal job-as a customs broker in a large freight company. At the beginning, I was full of hope for this career. I think freight is a sunrise industry, and I heard that the salary is also very high. My family was happy for me, but it didn't take me long to realize the huge gap between this job and my imagination.

Work is boring, waiting in line all day, looking at numbers, unpacking and inspecting goods. Sometimes dozens of people crowded into a window to put a few tickets, and countless hands holding lists reached out to the customs, crying and crying. Sometimes some officials will throw dozens or hundreds of tickets on the ground outside, and then countless customs declarers will lie on the ground like coyotes on the African grassland to grab tickets. Those customs officers look down on us in their bones, and in their eyes we will never be as good as them. It is often you who ask your grandpa to tell grandma to smile condescendingly and ask them to help get some tickets in question, but they don't even look up. Without even looking at you. I have two very real examples. I checked it once when I first declared the customs. It was Saturday, and the customs officer on duty didn't want to check it for me. I begged for a long time and finally left lazily, but at that time, his release stamp and so on were all in the same room, and the key was not with me, so he asked me to call the doorman to open the door. I was a novice and didn't know anyone. I turned around and found only an armed police. As a result, he saw that the person I called was wrong and pointed at my face and scolded me. . . . . . Another time, I checked that the goods were thermometers or something. After the customs inspection, I didn't see if I could drop it, so I threw the thermometer in front of me. The thermometer broke on the spot, mercury flowed into my hand, and there were pieces of glass (fortunately, my hand was not broken at that time). After reading it, the customs simply said, take a walk and wash yourself. . . . . . There are many such things, so I won't list them one by one. Friends in this business often joke that we are not even as good as the security guard in the customs declaration hall. Indeed, the security guards can boss us around. Sometimes the scanner is broken, the number can't be sent, and the chaotic scene is almost unimaginable. At this time, the security guard will ask us to stand up like a prison guard. Many ugly phenomena are really unwilling to talk about. They will ask you naked for cigarettes. For those who have given them benefits, security guards sometimes help him ask the customs or help him carry the customs declaration basket. . . . . .

I can't bear to look back! ! !

Give some advice to those who want to squeeze into this business later. "

1。 If you don't have a very hard relationship, or a thicker skin than the city wall, or a stronger psychological quality than you think, or a means of communication at the expense of completely giving up your dignity, you'd better not engage in this business easily. Strong-willed, fragile, ignorant and self-respecting compatriots should be careful.

2。 If you are not careful in this line, you'd better not be a first-line on-site customs inspector.

This is absolutely a great destruction of your dignity, patience and personality. The ideal choice is for foreign-funded enterprises to declare their own customs, or to work as importers in foreign-funded enterprises (preferably top 500 or some large foreign-funded processing enterprises), which is much better and beneficial to future development. Of course, you can also choose to do customer service (that is, back office, you don't have to contact those guys who are inferior to pigs and dogs, and it will be easier to find some if you have documents such as customs declaration and inspection)

3。 You have an inner relationship.

For example, a section chief or a clerk is your relative or close friend (in short, if you can contact the commodity inspection and customs, you can do it at least once). Then you can choose to be an on-site customs inspector. This will be of great help to your daily work and future development. Perhaps because of this, the boss thinks you can do it, and you have much more room for improvement than others.

4。 You are a big official in a freight company and have connections (for example, the manager of the customs declaration department of a freight company is your uncle).

In this case, you can also do on-site customs declaration. Usually, I can introduce you to several officials through my uncle and kiss their ass. In the future, the three customs inspectors will take care of you for the sake of the monk. This is very important. Some urgent or difficult orders may be qualitatively different because of this relationship.

5。 You have nothing to do with this. You want to go there.

Don't take this step until the end of your rope, unless you have strong communication skills, you can completely abandon your self-esteem. Otherwise, it will be difficult for you to get ahead. I've seen too many such examples. I've become a walking corpse and been scolded by the customs. In order to please them, I moved things, cleaned windows and moved boxes for them. . . . . . I thought I knew some officials, but in fact I was nothing to them. Even if you are ok, you can be a small leader and often go out with them, and you can't escape being discriminated against and bossed around. This taste is worse than death.

6。 I'm talking about most people.

I don't rule out people who succeed by their own efforts, and there are many successful people around me. I know a girl who works hard by herself and does private work with a monthly income of 1W+. A friend bought a private car, but this is an individual phenomenon after all. ......

I've seen enough of flattery and servility, and I've seen enough of the teacher's servile face before and after. I finally know what is corruption, what is trading power and money, what is involuntary, too many tears and too much bitterness. Maybe you will feel that this is the helplessness that every line and every industry will have. Maybe you will regard him as a necessary training in life. Maybe this is a test of eating and drinking. Perhaps this is the only way for all successful customs declarers. I only hope that all friends who are about to enter or hope to enter this industry can read this article. Maybe he just recorded a small part of the life of the customs broker. You may think he is not representative, but he is real. It is the heart of many people.

Finally, I wish all customs declarers in the world a bright future! ! !

Attachment: I was admitted to Shanghai University of Finance and Economics for a master's degree this year with the third total score in the preliminary examination. I hope this is the beginning of my new life.

Friend 20

Posting for the first time Everyone should criticize anything wrong. The sofa is occupied by myself.

Combined with my several replies, I would like to give you some suggestions:

1。 Don't set the customs broker too high. Without experience, there will be no good treatment at first, and now there are too many people with certificates. Don't believe false reports such as "talent shortage", "companies compete for double certificates" and "surge in demand". Be sure to put yourself in the right position.

Excuse me, landlord, how much is the salary of Shanghai customs broker? [/quote]

The salary of Shanghai customs broker is as follows

Novice 1000 or so, and those with working experience exceeding 1 year are divided into several grades.

Small companies (Huaxing, Guo Hua and the like) 1500 or so.

General companies (Datong, Daejeon, Xinhai, Yadong and the like) are around 1500 to 2500.

More companies (Kangjiekong, Xingya, Huanya, Jinhaijie and so on) 2500+

There are many foreign companies, such as UPS TNT FEDEX DHL. Those who have worked for more than 2 years will get 4000+.

It is worth noting that the quality of the company is not only reflected in the salary, but also the quarterly bonus, year-end bonus and other bonuses will range from several million to tens of thousands, and the gap is very large.

3。 When college students go to school, they should first learn professional knowledge well, and don't be busy taking many certificates that have nothing to do with their major. For example, many computers have to take the customs declaration test and CPA test, which I think is a bit too blind. You must first determine your own direction. Of course, if you are a customs broker of trade and freight, you can still take the exam.

4。 I must learn English well, which I have repeatedly stressed. What is good English? Don't think that it's better to pass the sixth or eighth grade. In fact, these certificates are just a stepping stone to your resume interview. The key is your oral English and professional English application ability, such as business English and telegraph for foreign trade freight students. To give two realistic examples, the customer service interviews of major freight companies such as DHL and Danxia Zhongfu are all in English. Their interview will even have a situational dialogue with foreigners' offices, and you will know your level in a few words.

5。 If you don't know anyone, I think it is very, very difficult to make great progress in customs declaration. To put it bluntly, I don't think it makes any sense to just take a customs declaration card:

First of all, if you are not a major in this field, many freight companies will not want you, just as you only have a pass for a customer, and there are not many reasons for the law firm to want you.

Secondly, if a novice has nothing to do, don't expect an ideal salary. At present, the salary of junior customs declarers is already very low. Take Shanghai as an example, people below 1000 are full of inexperienced people (including those with double certificates, in fact, it is useless to have more certificates). A child (later than me) once told me a true interview story. He also applied for a freight company with many certificates. Later the interviewer asked him if he had any experience. He said no, and the interviewer threw him a sentence: Sorry, we can help you make any proof in China within three days. Certificates are worthless. What we need is your practical ability.

6。 If a friend who gets this certificate wants to declare customs, I estimate that nine times out of ten it is on-site customs clearance. Because most self-declaration requires you to have more than 2 years of industry experience, of course, fresh graduates will not have it, so a large number of certified rookies will flock to freight declaration companies to do their own work. Hehe, of course, I am a grandson to the customs every day. So be prepared in your heart.
