In the third year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1906), the imperial examination was abolished and the school was established. The clan of Xiaowo Qiujia established a private primary school with Xiaowo Qiujia ancestral hall as the address. Founded in 18 (1929), it was closed due to lack of funds. In the 25th year of the Republic of China (1933), Mr. Qiu Xuedun, the "Prime Minister" of Qiu's Ancestral Hall, reopened the primary school and renamed it "Private Shude Primary School", which was incorporated into the public after the national liberation.

1995 Mr. Qiu decided to carry forward Shude education and chose the site at the foot of Chengguan Mountain in Lianjiang County. On June 8 of that year, the ground was broken 1 1996. In May 1996, the county education bureau approved the establishment of schools (primary schools and junior high schools), and in April 197, the municipal education commission approved the establishment of high schools. In 2005, the school was renamed Fuzhou Shude School.
