Ledong has a tropical monsoon climate, characterized by abundant sunshine and heat. Except in mountainous areas, cold waves rarely appear, with short duration and light impact, and most areas are rich in annual rainfall. However, the water quantity is not balanced, and it is unevenly distributed within one year. The dry season and rainy season are distinct, and there will be different degrees of winter and spring drought almost every year. The coastal plain has less rainfall and more unbalanced water, and the problem of drought is particularly prominent.
