He is the 28th ancestor of Zen Buddhism in India. He came to China in the first year of Liang Pingtong, and was treated by the priests in Guangzhou to play Emperor Wen. On one occasion, in the question-and-answer session with Liang Wudi, they were lovers. After breaking up in discord, they went north to Songshan Shaolin Temple. I found a natural cave in Wurufeng at the back of the temple and studied hard for nine years. Later, I was moved by Master Hui Ke, and I want to pass on the mantle of the master. Because he has been facing the wall for too long, people also call him "Face Dharma" 2. Master Hui Kehui, the second ancestor of Zen Buddhism, is the second ancestor of Zen Buddhism and the direct preacher of China. Also known as monk ke, the common surname is Ji, and the name is Daoguang, also known as Daoguang. He was born in Xingyang County, Henan Province from 487 to 593. According to Tang Daoxuan's Continued Biography of Monks and Jingde Record, Hui Ke learned from Lao Zi and Zhuang Zi in his early years, and then read Buddhist books with a detached attitude. He became a monk in Xiangshan, Longmen, Luoyang, and learned all kinds of things. Sanzang studied intensively and meditated in Xiangshan for eight years. When Hui Ke was about forty years old, Master Baojing told him to go to Songshan Shaolin Temple to receive Buddhist teachings. Hui Ke studied Buddhism for six years and wrote a personal biography about Buddhism. After Dharma fell into silence, Hui Ke also went to the Yellow River valley to remain anonymous. However, due to "having a good reputation in the past, it spread to the national capital", many Taoist customs still asked, while Hui Ke was "eager to argue and show his heart, so he won the world's words and could not stand". Later, he went to Yedu (Anyang County, Henan Province), the capital of the Eastern Wei Dynasty, to practice dharma in Dahong. At that time, the study style of Buddhism in the north was conservative, and there were constant Zen masters in the wild. He secretly sent his disciples to criticize Hui Ke and even bribed officials to try to hurt him. Hui Ke lives between He Wei (Anyang, Jixian County, Henan Province). In 574 AD, Emperor Wudi of the Northern Zhou Dynasty destroyed the Buddha, and in 577 AD, the Northern Qi Dynasty died, and the action of destroying the Buddha expanded. Hui Ke and Lin Tan, the same person, took refuge in Wangongshan (Qianshan County, Anhui Province) in Zhou Shu. It is for the sake of the three ancestors of Zen that monks can become monks here and pass on their scriptures with their hearts. In 579 AD, the Northern Zhou Emperor Xuan Di resumed Buddhism, and Hui Ke returned to Yedu and died in 13 AD.
Hui Ke's Biography of Buddhism tells the story of "Walking through the snow with a broken arm". According to Tang Falin's Hui Ke Monument, it was said at that time that Hui Ke Monument could seek dharma. Dharma said that people who seek dharma can only get it if they don't regard themselves as their own bodies and their own lives. Hui Ke stood in the snow for several nights and ignored his broken arm, gaining peace of mind from Dharma. This case-solving, Daoxuan's Biography of the Continued Monk said that he was handcuffed by a thief, and later generations used to say so. The Zen spirit taught by Hui Ke can be found in various historical biographies, such as The Record of Passing Lights, The Record of Teacher Lunga, The Record of Passing Magic Weapons and so on. There are two most popular cases of seeking dharma from dharma and transmitting dharma to monks in Jingdezhen Chuandeng Record:

The teacher said, "I confess my sins to you!" " For a long time, the layman said, "You can't get it if you seek sin." The teacher said, "I confessed my sins to you;" It is appropriate to live according to Buddhism and Buddhism. " He said, "If you know that monks are monks, why haven't you tried any Buddhism or Buddhism?" The teacher said, "Heart is Buddha, heart is Dharma, Dharma is Buddha, and so is monk Bao." He said, "Today, I realize that sin is not inside, outside or in the middle. Like YoYo, there is no difference between Buddhism and Buddhism. " The master's profound instrument is to shave his hair, and the cloud is my treasure, so he should be named monk.
In addition, according to "The Biography of Continued Monks", it seems that there was a Hui Ke Anthology handed down from generation to generation in the Tang Dynasty, but it was later lost. Hui Ke once wrote a poem to answer a Buddhist question: "I was fascinated by Mani and suddenly realized that it was a real pearl. Ignorance, wisdom, etc. It's all the same. When you know all the rules, you will be like this. I am very impressed by these two disciples, and I have written the application. " There is no difference between observing the body and observing the Buddha. Why do you want to find more? "
In the second year of Northern Qi Dynasty, the third ancestor of Zen Buddhism joined the Master, and there was a lay man in his forties. Li's second ancestor asked the teacher, "My disciple is riddled with wind disease, so please ask the monk to confess his sins."
The teacher said, "Come and confess your sins to you."
The scholar said for a long time: "You can't get it if you find guilt."
The teacher said, "I confess my sins to you." It is appropriate to live according to Buddhism and Buddhism. "
The scholar said, "When I met a monk today, I knew it was a monk. What Buddha and Dharma haven't tried? "
The teacher said: "The heart is Buddha, and the heart is Dharma. Buddhism is no different from Buddhism, and so is monk treasure. "
The scholar said: "Today I understand that sin is not inside, not outside, not in. Just like its yo-yo, Buddhism is no different. "
The teacher's foresight is to shave his head. As the cloud says, "It's my baby. It is right to become a monk. " Master Sanzu Sanggan, whose life and native place are unknown, is said to be from Xuzhou. Tian Ping of the Northern Qi Dynasty shaved for two years under the seat of Master Hui Ke; In March of the same year, Yu Guangfu Temple received an anklet, and his illness gradually recovered, but his hair completely fell off. To thank Master Hui Ke, the second ancestor, for his kindness, he always accompanied him and held a disciple ceremony afterwards. Two years later, the second ancestor told the monk: "The Bodhi ancestor brought the Buddhist scriptures to Middle Earth and entrusted them to me. Today, I will teach you this dressing method. You should guard wholeheartedly and don't cut off this mentality. Now I send you a poem. Listen carefully:' There used to be land, because Watson was planted in the land, but without seeds, China was never born'. " He also advised: "There will be national disasters in the future. It is best to live in seclusion in the mountains first, and there is no need to rush to preach the Dharma. " Master Shen asked, "Since monks can predict the future, please be merciful." The second ancestor replied: "It's not that I have foresight, but that it is recorded in the Prajna Hanging Sutra from the master of Buddhism:' Although the heart is fierce', it should be counted at this time. You should remember the precepts, don't spread them, and when the time is right, you can avoid the difficulties of this world. I have a house debt to pay. Do it yourself and wait until the karma comes. "
Master Hui Ke traveled in Yecheng (now Linzhang County, Hebei Province) for 34 years after spreading the Dharma. In the 13th year of Emperor Wen (AD 593), he was persecuted by slanderers, but died on March 16th and was buried in Cizhou (now Hebei Province). Tang Dezong posthumously awarded him as "the great Zen founder".
In the third year of Jiande in the Northern Zhou Dynasty (A.D. 574), Emperor Wudi wrote a letter to abolish Buddhism and Taoism, destroyed temples and towers, burned scriptures, and ordered monks and Taoists to be secularized, thus completely eliminating Buddhism in China. In the sixth year of Jiande, he invaded Beiqi, captured Yedu, and wrote again to destroy the scriptures. For a time, northern Buddhism was completely lost, which was called "Zhou Wufa was difficult" in history.
In this era of rapid regime change and chaotic people's hearts, not only Buddhism has been oppressed as never before, but the whole political situation in the Central Plains is also in turmoil. The Buddhist monk who happened to meet the ritual took refuge in Shui Ze, a rock between Wangongshan in Zhou Shu (now Anhui) and Sikong Mountain in Taihu County, and meditated with great concentration, waiting for karma.
In the twelfth year of Emperor Kai, a 14-year-old novice monk worshiped the great monk and his wife, and went to Wangong Mountain to attend the ceremony and seek benefits, thus obtaining the mysterious purpose of Buddhism. After that, he served the monk for nine years. After the Taoist priest and monk got the foot precept, the three ancestors repeatedly proved that he had won the hearts of the buddhas, so he paid him for Buddhism. His reasons for practicing the law are as follows:
"Although the species in China are planted from the ground, without God, there would be no life in China."
After spreading the Dharma, Master Chan, a monk, went south to Luofu Mountain (now Guangdong) to live in seclusion with Zen Master Bao Yue and Zen Master Shending. Its freedom from life and death and freedom of movement impressed the people present and won wide support. A "pear flower pavilion" was built at the pear flower to commemorate the noble character of the master monk and ginseng. After Master, he was honored as the third ancestor of Zen Buddhism, and Tang Xuanzong awarded him the title of "Wisdom Zen Master".
More than 400 years later, in the early Tang Dynasty, Li Chang, Nanyin, Henan Province, always worshipped Master Can, a monk. As a result, not only the location of Sanzu's tomb was determined, but also 300 five-color relics were obtained at the opening ceremony. Although Buddhism flourished in the Southern Dynasties, according to historical records, Chen Chao had 1232 monasteries, 32,000 monks and nuns, and 100 civil and military officials and scholars, most of whom believed in Buddhism. However, at that time, many Dojo scenes were declining, and the rules of the monk group were gone. Monks are only busy for three meals, not to mention the practice of getting rid of life and death, not to mention the willingness to preach Buddhism and benefit students.
The master of Taoism and belief, who admired the truth of Buddhism from an early age, was born an extraordinary person. His understanding of Buddhism is more like a lifelong study. When I first became a monk, I had no good knowledge to guide me. In turbulent times, I kept the spirit of walking, took care of myself, solemnly quit, and was pure, just like a lotus coming out of the mud without being defiled. In the twelfth year of Emperor Kai of Sui Dynasty (AD 592), the master of Daoxin was only fourteen years old. He came to visit Master Chan, the third ancestor of Wangong Mountain in Zhou Shu, and said, "May the monks be merciful and teach the way of liberation."

Inspired by the words of the three ancestors, Master Daoxin suddenly realized that it was not an exaggeration to accompany the three ancestors, inherit their Taoism and practice with great concentration for 60 years. After repeated investigations, Sanzu realized that Master Xin's roots were ripe, so he handed him a mantle and said, "Although China's seeds were planted from the ground, Watson grew from the ground. Without race, there would be no life in China. " Since then, the master of Taoism has accumulated countless things and opened the door of Zen, becoming the fourth ancestor of Zen.
At that time, in the Sui Dynasty, there was a certain system of becoming a monk. According to the regulations of the state, it is necessary for the state to hold regular examinations, which are assessed by monks' election personnel, and then become monks, and then the state assigns them to a temple for practice. This is the real "monk book". Master Dao Xin first entered the monk's gate when the country was in turmoil and the people were displaced. Due to karma, he did not get the permission of the state and failed to have a legal status. But to be prosperous, legal identity is necessary and convenient, so as to coexist with the world and turn joy into love. So I took the exam, was ordained in Jizhou, and lived in Jizhou according to the national distribution.
In the 13th year of the great cause of the Sui Dynasty (AD 6 17), the master led the crowd to Jizhou, which coincided with the siege of thieves and soldiers. After 70 years, it failed to lift the ban. The springs and wells in the city have dried up, and everyone is worried. The four ancestors all said that "Maha Prajna Paramita". At this time, the people of the whole city are United and sincere. At this time, the thieves outside the city looked at the city from a distance and saw that there seemed to be magic soldiers guarding the city. They were afraid and warned each other, "There must be strangers in the city, so we can't attack rashly!" " Then leave.
Master Daoxin, the fourth ancestor, studied in the south for nearly 20 years, among which he also came into contact with Sanlun Sect and Tiantai Sect, and was able to master many teaching methods and apply them freely. In the seventh year of Tang Wude (AD 624), he returned to qi zhou and lived in Broken Head Mountain (namely Shuangfeng Mountain in Huangmei County, qi zhou). On the way to Huangmei County, I met a child and observed his strange appearance, which was very unusual.
I asked him, "What's your last name?" The child replied: "There is a surname, but it is not an ordinary surname." The fourth ancestor asked, "What's your last name?" A: "It is Buddha nature." The fourth ancestor asked him again, "Don't you have a surname?" Answer: "Sex is empty, so there is nothing."
The fourth ancestor realized that the child was an instrument and accepted him as a disciple because of the karma of previous lives. Finally, he paid for the clothes and said, "The species in China are naturally born, and they are born on the earth." Great fate and sexual harmony, when life is not born. "This child is Hong Ren, the fifth ancestor of China Zen.
In the process of the four ancestors carrying forward Zen Buddhism, scholars and monks who asked the master for dharma were like clouds, and the master randomly answered questions for the four disciples. One day, I told the public: "I am in the middle reaches of Wude Mountain. When I reached the top of the mountain, I looked at the broken head mountain. I saw Ziyun as a cover, and there was white air under it. Do you know what it stands for? " Everyone was silent. Hong Ren asked, "Is there a dharma vein after becoming a monk?" The fourth ancestor said, "Yes." Knowing that karma had arrived, the fourth ancestor went to look for it himself. This is why Master Farong of Niutoushan later decided not to establish "Tauren Zen".
When Zen master Farong first met the four ancestors, he asked, "Since the heart is full, which is the Buddha?" What is the heart? "
The fourth ancestor said, "Don't ask Buddha, don't ask Buddha."
Zen master Farong said, "Since you are not allowed to observe, how do you treat your heart when you are in the realm?"
The fourth ancestor added: "There is no ugliness in the world, and ugliness begins in the heart. The heart is not famous, where does the fake love come from? I can't afford a vacation, but I really know all about it. However, if you feel at ease, there will be no recovery, that is, your name will always live in the dharma body and will not mutate. I was taught by Master Chan, and I entrusted it to you today. I sincerely believe that I told you that you can only live in this mountain. In the future, five people will accept your legal requirements and promote the party. " After paying for Buddhism, the four ancestors returned to Broken Head Mountain (namely Shuangfeng Mountain) to die, with a life span of 70 years, and built a tower in Huangshan Temple in Dongshan.
Master Daoxin, the fourth ancestor, devoted his life to the transcendence of Zen, martial arts and morality. Later, Master Hongren, the fifth ancestor, spread Buddhism in Dongshan, Huangmei. The world called him "Dongshan Fa" and respected the fourth ancestor as the ancestor of Dongshan Fa. In the first year of the Tang Dynasty, Tang Daizong praised the "Great Doctor Zen Master", whose name was "Ciyun", and he wrote books such as Convenient Practice when Entering the Tao with Peace of Mind and Practice by Bodhisattva.

The teacher then told the woman that she would dare to do it as long as she agreed. When the woman agreed, the teacher would return. The woman's parents were so wicked that they were driven away, and the woman never returned. The Japanese servant circled in the middle of the room, stopped at the ground floor of the public hall, and gave birth to a son, that is, the teacher will see you tomorrow. He went upstream and was angry, so he raised it. After becoming a child, he begged for food with his mother, and everyone in the village told him not to be surnamed.
At the age of seven, he became a monk in Dongshan Temple, Shuangfeng Mountain, Huangmei, qi zhou, with the Taoist mind of the fourth ancestor. Learning from the solemn teachings, a wise man once saw it and sighed, "This son lacks seven kinds of faces, so he can't catch the Tathagata." It serves to show that the teacher has twenty-five Tathagata. In the second year of Tang Yonghui (65 1), the Taoist faith went into silence, and he studied dharma, which was called "Huangmei, the fifth ancestor" by the world. In the second year of Xianheng (67 1), it was spread to Huineng, the sixth ancestor.
It turns out that Zen Buddhism came from the east of Buddhism and spread Buddhism by the Shurangama Sutra. Since the fifth ancestor, it has been passed down from generation to generation with the Diamond Sutra, and the sixth ancestor Huineng was saved by listening to the Diamond Sutra. The inheritance of China's Zen Buddhism from the ancestor Dharma to the fifth ancestor has been recognized by all schools of Zen Buddhism in later generations, and it has become more prosperous after being carried forward. At that time, people called its Zen style "Dongshan Buddhism", taking the origin of Ming heart as the Sect and keeping the original heart as the key to learning.

If you get the gist, you are the sixth generation ancestor. Fire goes fast and must not be delayed; It's no use thinking about it. People who see sex must have seen it under the words.
