Zhu Yan and Zuo Hui are husband and wife. Zhu Yan and Zuo Hui have a son and a daughter, of whom the daughter was born in 2008, aged 14, and the son was born in 20 10, aged 12. Zhu Yan's wealth mainly comes from Zuo Hui's inheritance of Shell shares before his death. By the end of 20021,Zhu Yan had inherited all the shares of Zuo Hui's overseas trust, namely 885 million shares of Shell, accounting for 24.8% of the total share capital of Shell.
