A brief introduction to the dragon-flapping duet
Long Puduo (Phor Toh Luang | Long Puduo, Long Putuo, Lang Putuo), one of the nine most respected holy monks in Thailand, was born on March 27th, 2430 (Gregorian calendar 1583) and died on Gregorian calendar 1682, at the age of 99, with good health and open eyes. Long Puduo studied Buddhism with Qu Baibai since childhood, followed Azan, and was ordained as a monk in the original temple at the age of 20. After Azan's death, Longpuduo was taught meditation and various spells by King Azan. After that, like many monks, Long Puduo practiced asceticism in the forest, extended his feet to northern Thailand, and spent many summer retreats in Limao House (Thai monks closed for three months every rainy season).
