Icon language is a high-level programming language, which is different from general programming languages such as C language. Strong analytical and processing ability for strings and structures, especially suitable for solving problems in the humanities field. Therefore, in liberal arts departments of many universities in Europe and America, icon language is a compulsory course. After writing the software for linguistic research in icon programming language and converting the file into text, we can begin to study these materials with computers. The research content is very extensive. Not only can the traditional "pen plus card" method be used for research, such as words, sentence extracts, entry sorting and so on. However, it can also be done by computer conveniently and quickly, and it can also accomplish tasks that traditional methods cannot or are difficult to accomplish, such as searching, counting various language components, counting words and word frequencies, and outputting files in a specific way (such as one line per clause). To accomplish the above tasks, a variety of application software is essential. However, there are few softwares in the market that can meet the needs of general linguistic researchers in language research, which requires researchers to master one or two programming languages and write application software according to their own needs.
