Business administration mainly studies the basic knowledge and skills of management, economics and modern enterprise management, including the formulation of business strategy and internal behavior management. It uses modern management methods and means to make effective enterprise management and management decisions, formulate strategic objectives of enterprises, and ensure the survival and development of enterprises.
The predecessor of this school is Central University.
Department of Forestry (founded in 1902), Department of Forestry of Jinling University (founded in 19 10) and Nanjing Forestry College (founded in 1952) were one of the only three forestry colleges in China at that time. 1955 Huazhong agricultural college (formed by the merger of Wuhan university, Nanchang university and Hubei agricultural college) was merged with the forestry department, and 1972 was renamed Nanjing forestry industry institute. 1983 restored the name of Nanjing Forestry College, and 1985 changed its name to Nanjing Forestry University.
