The School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Tianjin University of Technology has four master's programs in chemical technology, applied chemistry, chemical engineering and medicinal chemistry and one master's program in chemical engineering.

Chemical process:

His main research interests are organic chemicals, functional chemicals and new material chemicals.

Applied chemistry:

His main research interests are fine chemicals chemistry and technology, functional polymers and catalysts, and fine chemicals synthesis and engineering.

Chemical engineering:

The main research directions are separation and reaction engineering and resources and new materials engineering.

Medicinal chemistry:

The main research directions are active ingredients of natural drugs, structural modification and total synthesis, new drug development, drug synthesis technology and rational drug design and structure-activity relationship.

The number of graduate students in our college is 46, and the tutor for master students is 15. In 2007, the graduate students plan to enroll 30 students. Some graduate students who graduated from our college were admitted to Tianjin University and Nankai University, and went on to study for doctors. The other part mainly went to national, provincial and municipal scientific research institutions, universities and enterprises. No matter where the graduate students graduated from our college are, they are well received by universities and employers.
