China Geo University, abbreviated as "Dida", is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), which was founded in 1952. China Geo University is a comprehensive university featuring science, engineering, economics and law.

The school has two campuses, located in Wuhan, Hubei Province and Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, and one campus is in Beijing, that is, Greater Beijing. Dida is the alma mater of many famous scholars, such as Li Siguang, an academician of China Academy of Engineering, and Jin Zhenjun, an academician of China Academy of Sciences. It has a dynamic, high-level teaching staff and excellent teaching and research conditions.

China Geo University has a unique discipline system, in which geology, geophysics, petroleum engineering, environmental science and engineering, geological resources and geological engineering, mathematics and other disciplines are in a leading position in China.
