Trass has two children. Trass graduated from Oxford University and worked in the energy and telecommunications industries. 20 10 was elected as a member of the conservative party, and worked in government departments from 20 12. She is the Minister of International Trade and the Chairperson of the Trade Commission, and the Minister of Women and Equality. In September, 20021,she became Foreign Minister.

She will become the third female prime minister in British history.
