The College of Physical Science and Engineering Technology of Guangxi University was formerly the Department of Physics of Guangxi University, and was renamed the College of Physical Science and Engineering Technology in June 2003.

Talent training: I have two first-class disciplines, namely physics and materials science and engineering, a master's degree in engineering thermophysics and a master's degree in materials engineering and project management (MPA). Astronomy and nuclear technology, two first-class disciplines, were included in the master's degree authorization points of the key construction in the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" by the autonomous region. At present, undergraduate enrollment majors are physics and electronic science and technology, and undertake the experimental teaching of physics and college physics in the whole university of science and engineering. The first-class discipline of physics is a key discipline at the autonomous region level, and the specialty of electronic science and technology has entered the outstanding engineer program of the Ministry of Education. The physical experiment demonstration center is an autonomous regional experimental demonstration center, with an existing experimental teaching room area of more than 7,000 square meters and more than 2,500 sets of instruments and equipment.
