Xi University of Finance and Economics, referred to as "Xi University of Finance and Economics", located in Xi, Shaanxi Province, is an ordinary institution of higher learning approved by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government and the National Bureau of Statistics. The school was formerly the Northwest Trade School founded by 1952. 1985, Northwest Trade School was renamed Shaanxi Business School.
1996, Shaanxi Business College, Shaanxi Finance College and Shaanxi Industrial and Commercial College merged into Shaanxi Institute of Economics and Business; In June, 20001year, Shaanxi Institute of Economics and Business and xi 'an Institute of Statistics merged to form Xi 'an Institute of Finance and Economics; 20 18 1 1 was renamed as Xi 'an University of Finance and Economics with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
