The tourism management major of Ningbo University is divided into two training levels: undergraduate and master. As far as the undergraduate level is concerned, the overall strength is still quite strong. In fact, there are three majors (including direction), including:
Tourism management (Sino-French cooperation) is jointly organized by Ningbo University and the University of Angles in France. According to the Regulations on Chinese-foreign Cooperation in Running Schools, 20 10 was approved by the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor can be traced back to the Sino-French tourism management double diploma cooperation project in 2005 based on the mutual recognition of credits between the two universities and the inter-school cooperation agreement. In addition to the professors and associate professors from the main cooperation method, foreign teachers also come from French universities such as Nice University, Bordeaux University, Picardy-jules verne University and European universities such as Lausanne University (yes), and there are also many core executives from European (mainly French) multinational tourism enterprises (such as the famous club med). This major is admitted directly through the college entrance examination, generally in the first batch or the first paragraph of undergraduate online admission in various provinces and cities. It has nothing to do with Yangming College. Students directly enter the Joint College of Angel University of Ningbo University (a Sino-foreign cooperative school was established with the approval of the Ministry of Education in March 20 17, and it is one of the Sino-French Joint Colleges), and the dual campuses of tourism+French and China+France are implemented. The enrollment rate of students majoring in this major is between 85% and 90%, and the enrollment rate of students entering French or Swiss universities is nearly two-thirds. Both the rate of going abroad and the rate of postgraduate entrance examination are the first in Ningbo University. 20 17 was selected as the specialty of characteristic construction in the 13th Five-Year Plan of Zhejiang Province. 20 18 was selected as the fifth batch of key construction majors in Ningbo. It is one of the only four five-star or quasi-five-star majors in Ningbo University.
Tourism Management (Chinese and Western Double Diploma) is a double diploma cooperation project between Ningbo University and the University of Balearic Islands in Spain (the school's tourism management discipline has long been ranked in the top 20 in the world). Since 20 12, it has been diverted from the relevant categories of Yangming University (first economics and management, then management, and now business administration). It should be pointed out that many students who choose this major (direction) don't get good grades in their freshman year, but it's not because of poor grades in college, as Xie said. In fact, many students are among the best in the big category. After the diversion, this major (direction) is located in the China-Europe Institute of Tourism and Culture (co-located with the United College of Angel University of Ningbo University, and the same group of China teachers). In addition to studying tourism and hotel management courses, students are also taught Spanish by Spanish foreign teachers, and professional courses are shared by China and Spanish teachers. The college paid for Spanish teachers from the Balearic Islands. Students go to Spain to study in their senior year and get diplomas from two universities when they graduate. This major (direction) has an overseas study rate of 80%-90% and an enrollment rate of about 50% (entering universities such as Madrid and Barcelona). The main data of talent training results are better than other management majors.
Tourism management and service education. This major started from the former Vocational Education College of Ningbo University (later merged into Ningbo City Vocational and Technical College). Although it has been enrolling students in the name of Ningbo University and issuing Ningbo University Diploma, it was trained in Ningbo City Vocational and Technical College. From the academic year of 20 18-20 19, I officially returned to Ningbo University and settled in China-Europe Institute of Tourism and Culture. This major is aimed at students from three schools (tourism secondary vocational schools, technical secondary schools and technical schools) to make separate propositions, take separate examinations and enroll students, mainly to train professional teachers for tourism secondary schools. Of course, students can also find jobs in various industries such as tourism. Students with outstanding English ability can be recommended by colleges and sent to cooperative European colleges for exchange and communication.
