1, Beijing Normal University:
Beijing Normal University is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), which is jointly established by the Ministry of Education and Beijing. It ranks among the first ten key universities in the national "double first-class", "985 Project", "21project", "Seventh Five-Year Plan" and "Eighth Five-Year Plan".
The school's predecessor was Shi Jing University Hall, which was founded in 1902. 1908 was renamed as Shi Jing Excellent Normal School, with independent organizational system. 19 12 was renamed Beijing Normal University. 1923, the school was renamed as Beijing Normal University, becoming the first normal university in the history of China.

Southwest University, located in Beibei District of Chongqing, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and Chongqing Municipality.
