Xi 'an Art School was founded in 1960. After several generations of struggle, it has now developed into six major disciplines: dance, drama, film and television, music, art, drama and social literature.

In order to meet the needs of strategic decision-making in the development of the western region, the school has determined a new school-running idea, further broadened the school-running channels, and initially formed a teaching model for cultivating practical, compound and popular artistic talents.

The school has a total teaching building area of 38,000 square meters, a rehearsal hall area of 3,070 square meters, 56 piano rooms area of 480 square meters, and a practice theater area of 2,900 square meters. The school has a strong faculty and complete teaching facilities.

Academic exchange:

In recent years, the school's foreign affairs exchange activities have become increasingly frequent, and it has received more than 20 foreign delegations, art groups and tour groups from the United States, Japan, Germany, Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Singapore and Vietnam.

School leaders and some faculty members have visited the United States, Russia, France, Austria, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan Province and other places. On 20 1 1 year, the school organized teachers and students to go to France and South Korea to participate in international youth art exchange activities, and also cooperated with Gyeongsang University in South Korea and Kharkov Institute of National Culture in Ukraine.
