1, Chongqing Three Gorges Medical College
Chongqing Three Gorges Medical College was founded in 195 1, and was merged and upgraded from Chongqing Wanzhou Health School and Chongqing Wanxian Chinese Medicine School in 2006. It is the only independent full-time public medical and health institution in the Three Gorges reservoir area.

Chongqing industry polytechnic college is a full-time public institution of higher learning sponsored by Chongqing Municipal Government and headed by Chongqing Municipal Education Commission. The school's predecessor was Chongqing Machinery Manufacturing School founded by the former Ministry of Machinery Industry, 1956. In 2000, Chongqing Machinery Manufacturing School and Chongqing Machinery Workers College merged and upgraded to chongqing industry polytechnic college.

It is the national backbone vocational college and the construction unit of "China Characteristic High-level Vocational College and Specialty Construction Plan" determined by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance.
