1, Wuhan University dates back to 1893. Governor Zhang Zhidong of Huguang invited the Qing government to set up a self-improvement school. Later, it was named National Wuhan University on 1928, which was the first batch of national universities in modern China. In 2000, Wuhan University merged with Wuhan University of Water Resources and Electric Power, Wuhan Technical University of Surveying and Mapping and Hubei Medical University to form the new Wuhan University.
2. Huazhong University of Science and Technology was founded in 1952, Shanghai Wende Medical College in 1907 and Hubei Technical School in 1898. After inheritance and development, it was merged by Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Tongji Medical University and Wuhan Urban Construction College in 2000.

Wuhan University of Technology is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), the first batch of national world-class discipline construction universities, and the first batch of national "2 1 1 project" construction universities, which are jointly established by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Transport and the State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense. 4. Zhongnan University of Economics and Law was founded in 1948 by the Central Central Plains Bureau, with Deng Xiaoping as the first secretary and Chen Yi as the director of the Preparatory Committee. In 2000, Zhongnan University of Finance and Economics and Zhongnan College of Political Science and Law under the former Ministry of Justice merged to form Zhongnan University of Finance and Law.
5. Huazhong Normal University is a Chinese university founded by 1903 (187 1 Wenhua College founded by the Anglican Church, 1924 renamed as Huazhong University) and 19 12. 195 1, the public Huazhong University was established, 1952, and it was transformed into Huazhong Normal University. 1953 was named Huazhong Normal University, and 1985 was renamed Huazhong Normal University, with the name inscribed by Comrade Deng Xiaoping.
