Why do these talents want to go abroad for development?
A very important reason is that colleges and universities in China have insufficient awareness of talent training in specialized fields and recruit students equally, which leads to students only passively accepting textbook knowledge. Without the support of special selection and training mechanism, it is difficult to cultivate particularly top talents.
At the same time, there is also a great shortage in retaining talents, that is, the salary is not high. Although it can be better than usual, it is still difficult to compare with some foreign and even domestic industries.
From April 20 19 to the end of March 2020, the average salary of the domestic semiconductor industry was less than15,000 yuan, far less than the average annual salary of one million yuan in the Internet industry. Such an unbalanced distribution system will naturally cause dissatisfaction among all kinds of talents.
In order to reverse this situation, China quickly took a series of measures for rectification.
In 2020, Nanjing established a university specializing in chip research, and then Tsinghua University built a related professional college.
At present, the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China has begun to apply for building a platform for cultivating talents through school-enterprise cooperation. The project received domestic support and provided 350 million yuan for its establishment.
Not only that, Huawei and other enterprises also cooperate with domestic universities to attract professionals to make scientific research breakthroughs.
Earlier, Huawei itself said that tens of thousands of its professionals were basically from Northwestern Polytechnical University.
Huawei has been optimistic for a long time. How awesome is Northwestern Polytechnical University? The school has undertaken a number of scientific research projects and developed the Beidou navigation system for 20 years, which has enabled China to have a self-developed navigation system.
At the same time, Northwestern Polytechnical University has also made great achievements in the domestic aerospace field and has strong strength. The school has produced many scientific research talents, such as designers of various top fighters, such as Yang Wei and Zhao Xia. Therefore, American companies even have to include it in the ranks of suppressing boycotts.
Therefore, Huawei does not exclude Tsinghua from leaving Peking University, but thinks that the professional strength of Northwestern Polytechnical University is stronger, which can help it make breakthroughs in various frontier fields.
