Zhejiang Normal University is a comprehensive provincial key university featuring teacher education. Its predecessor was Hangzhou Normal University. April 1956 was established with the approval of the Ministry of Education, and June 1958 was upgraded to Hangzhou Normal University. 65438-0962 Hangzhou Normal University merged with Zhejiang Institute of Education and Zhejiang Institute of Physical Education and was renamed Zhejiang Normal University. 1965 Zhejiang Normal University moved from Hangzhou to Jinhua, 1985 changed its name to Zhejiang Normal University.
In 2000, 200 1, and in 2004, Zhejiang Finance School, Zhejiang Preschool Normal School and Jinhua Railway Driver School merged one after another. On 20 15, the school was selected as the first batch of key construction universities in Zhejiang Province, and was awarded the second "National Civilized Campus" in 2020. The school has four campuses, namely Jinhua Campus (Headquarters), Hangzhou Xiaoshan Campus, Hangzhou West Lake Campus and Lanxi Campus, and 20 colleges (including independent colleges).
Conditions for running a school:
The quality of personnel training has been gradually improved. Since the establishment of the school, more than 300,000 outstanding talents of all levels and types have been sent to the society, of which 2 1 10,000 people work in the education system, and nearly half of the in-service special-grade teachers and principals of provincial key middle schools have graduated from our school. Undergraduate teaching performance evaluation and graduates' overall satisfaction with their alma mater are among the best in Zhejiang universities, and the overall employment rate of graduates remains above 95%.
At present, there are more than 28,000 full-time undergraduate (junior college) students (including independent colleges), more than 9,600 graduate students (including part-time graduate students 1 143), more than 3,000 international students and 20,000 adult higher education students1.
