The school of philosophy has first-class research results. In terms of scientific research, the College pays attention to strengthening problem awareness and quality products, and ranks among the top in the country in the fields of Marxist philosophy and its China studies, translation and research of Kant and Hegel's works, Ming and Qing philosophy, Confucianism and contemporary neo-Confucianism, especially Xiong Shili, Feng Youlan and Xu, Leibniz's research, translation and research of Thomas Aquinas' theology, basic aesthetic theory and Chinese aesthetic history, philosophical logic and Peirce's research. Our college has established close exchanges and cooperation with Harvard University, Pittsburgh University, Oxford University, Cambridge University, Toronto University, Trier University and Northeastern University. And published 22 sets of philosophy series textbooks in People's Publishing House and Higher Education Publishing House. Another 1 person won the National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award, and two courses were rated as national excellent courses.
