The age of senior high school athletes ranges from 14 to 15, with the top 20% level (average 95 to1/0kg);
16- 18 high school athletes, the top 40% to 50% (the average bench press at this age is 97 kg);
For NCAA (first class) athletes, in this level, the average bench press of 10% athletes with the lowest level is 109kg, and the average bench press distance of 100kg is 9 kg;
For NCAA (Grade II) athletes, 10% athletes, the average level of bench press is 102kg, and 100kg bench press is 2kg away from this average.
So being able to bench press 100kg shows that strength training has little effect and is much stronger than ordinary people. However, according to this NSCA guide, it is roughly equivalent to the bench press level of American football players aged 16 to 18.
