20 18 The Ministry of Education sent a letter to the Sichuan Provincial People's Government agreeing that Sichuan University of Science and Technology should be renamed Sichuan University of Light Chemical Technology, and students from the former Huangling Campus of Sichuan University of Science and Technology have moved to the urban campus and Lingang campus. Huangling Campus is now the practice teaching base for students of Lantern College of Sichuan University of Light Chemical Technology, which is jointly built by Zigong Municipal People's Government, Sichuan University of Light Chemical Technology and Zigong Lantern Group.

The Huangling Campus Management Committee of Sichuan University of Light Chemical Technology and its subordinate basic teaching colleges are all department-level units, with two brands and one team. There are offices, student work offices (including dormitory management stations of affiliated institutions), teaching management offices and security offices, and the Huangling Campus Management Committee and the general party branch and league branch of the basic teaching department are established.

The Administrative Committee and the Basic Teaching Department shall implement unified management of their subordinate offices and their personnel, and assess, reward and punish them for their job responsibilities, work performance and labor discipline. The relevant functional departments of the college guide and supervise the business counterpart offices from the aspects of policies, systems, norms and business.

The Administrative Committee and the Basic Education Department coordinate the logistics service management of Huangling Campus on behalf of the College, and the existing framework and operation mechanism of Huangling Branch of Logistics Service Corporation remain unchanged.
