University of South China, located in Chiayi City, Taiwan Province Province, is an institution of higher learning founded by master Foguangshan Xingyun, which has gathered millions of believers' willingness to study. Since its establishment, the university has been aiming at carrying forward the tradition of ancient academies in China, rebuilding the humanistic spirit, and establishing a new university in 2 1 century, which has the characteristics of humanity, religion, artistry and interdisciplinary integration. This school is the first comprehensive university founded by Foguangshan, and it is also a member of Foguangshan United University System, the first transnational joint university system in Taiwan Province Province. Since its establishment, the school has attached importance to general education and humanistic spirit, and is also a key school of general education in Taiwan Province Province.
