Marriage is a civil capacity, not a civil capacity? Thank you, everyone.
Marriage is a civil legal act, which requires corresponding civil capacity. The civil capacity of a natural person refers to the ability of a natural person to cause the occurrence, change and elimination of civil legal relations through his own behavior and bear the corresponding legal consequences. Capacity for civil rights is the qualification given by law to the subject of civil legal relationship to engage in civil activities, enjoy civil rights and undertake civil obligations. According to China's General Principles of Civil Law, a citizen's capacity for civil rights begins at birth and ends at death. Generally speaking, citizens are born with the capacity for civil rights and have the qualification or possibility to cause civil legal acts (such as marriage), but to make this civil legal act become a reality, they need to have certain civil capacity, such as a certain age and cognitive level.
