Brief introduction of Guangdong Food and Drug Vocational College

Guangdong Food and Drug Vocational College is a public full-time general higher vocational college approved by the Guangdong Provincial People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education. It is the second batch of national modern apprenticeship pilot units, the construction unit of Guangdong demonstration higher vocational colleges, the project construction unit of Guangdong first-class higher vocational colleges, and the demonstration school of innovation and entrepreneurship education for college students in Guangdong Province.

The school, formerly known as Guangdong Chinese Herbal Medicine School, was founded in June 1965. In May, 2003, it was officially upgraded to Guangdong Vocational and Technical College of Chemical Technology and Medicine by the Ministry of Education. In May 2007, it was renamed Guangdong Food and Drug Vocational College.
