Teachers and students: How have you been recently? We have been in Vietnam Haiphong University for nearly three months, and we really miss you. In these three months, we have never adapted. There's really too much to say. The climate in Vietnam is hot and humid. We really didn't adapt when we first came here. The dormitory we live in is for international students only. The internal structure of dormitory is similar to that of domestic universities. There is a bathroom attached to the 6-person room and a bathroom with an electric water heater. The table and bed are made of mahogany. The washbasin here is family-style and can only accommodate one person at a time. The bathroom is toilet-style. There should be a lot of initial discomfort, but there is a saying: habit becomes nature. Nothing can't adapt. Now, we are used to it. We have been in class for a month. The teacher teaches in Vietnamese. Of course, some teachers know some simple Chinese. What we are taking now is a business course. Here, in addition to international students from our school, there are also international students majoring in Vietnamese from other brother schools such as Central University for Nationalities, Agricultural Vocational College, Jiaotong College and City College. So, we are not alone here. Tell me more about Haiphong University and Haiphong City. We are now in the general campus of Haiphong University. I heard that there are several other small campuses. There are many teaching buildings and dormitory buildings in the school, which are relatively concentrated. The building number here is very special. There are Area A, Area B and Area C. The buildings in Area A are arranged according to A 1, A2, A3, and so on, and so on, and so are other fields. The streets of Haiphong City are narrow, and there is not much shade beside the road. Houses are generally 2-3 floors, European and American style. This is a major feature of Vietnam. On the outskirts of Haiphong, there is an industrial zone. It is said that quite a few Taiwanese businessmen invest here. Both the economy and road traffic of coastal defense need to be developed, and perhaps because of this, it has the potential for development. Besides, we also found many beautiful things, such as the people here are very hospitable and their lives are leisurely and simple. I went to Hanoi in the middle and late September, visited Jianhu, Confucian Temple, Guanbating Square and other scenic spots, and went to the famous 36th Street in Hanoi in the evening. I passed by the embassy district by car and saw the Chinese embassy in Vietnam. The old farmer who worked in Hanoi in 2004 helped us find a hotel, invited us to drink coffee and ate a big fan dinner with Vietnamese characteristics. It can be said that our trip to Hanoi was very enjoyable. The most important thing that happened in the first ten days of 10 was China National Day. On the evening of September 3 1, Haiphong University held a celebration party for our foreign students from different schools in China. I thought it was just a small party attended by only schools. Unexpectedly, Haiphong University also invited leaders of Haiphong Municipal Committee and representatives of China enterprises investing in Haiphong. The whole one became a Sino-Vietnamese cultural, economic and political exchange party. The party consists of two parts: speeches by representatives of both sides and song and dance performances, mainly by international students. Lu Na, a student in our class, was fortunate to be the only China host at the party. Our class performed both dancing and singing at the party, which was the most active among the international students in China. This makes all our classmates feel very proud, and also proud of Guangxi International Business Vocational and Technical College, and even more proud of the prosperity of our country! 10 1 That night, we celebrated the birthdays of two students in our class in the dormitory. This is a double happiness. The big birthday of our country is celebrated with the small birthday of our classmates.
