Normal students at public expense (free)
In the past, in the process of volunteering to fill in the college entrance examination and consulting, there were always parents asking about the situation of public-funded normal students. Some information about the normal students at public expense is arranged as follows:

First, the overall situation.

In May 2007, in order to train a large number of outstanding teachers and encourage more outstanding young people to join the education cause, the policy of free education for normal students was introduced. The enrollment plan was implemented immediately after the college entrance examination in June of that year to recruit new students. (The enrollment history has been 12 years, and the time is relatively long. )

2. In the autumn of 2007, six normal universities directly under the Ministry of Education, namely Beijing Normal University, East China Normal University, Northeast Normal University, Central China Normal University, Shaanxi Normal University and Southwest University, began to implement free education for normal students. At that time, it was simply called "free normal students" (these six schools are all 2 1 1, which is really enviable! )

3.2065438+In March 2008, the state issued the Action Plan for Revitalizing Teacher Education (2065438+2008-2022), which improved and perfected the policy of free education for normal students in normal universities directly under the Ministry of Education, renamed it as free normal students at public expense, and adjusted the service life of teaching to six years.

Second, the application conditions

Students who take the college entrance examination and can reach the corresponding batch and college admission scores in their province can apply for public-funded normal students.

Third, preferential policies.

1. Two exemptions and one subsidy: students are free of tuition and accommodation fees during their school days, and they are given living allowances. Not only do you not pay, but you also send money. Where can I find this good thing? Children with average economic conditions and those who are interested in becoming teachers are preferred.

2. Make sure there are posts:

Free normal students return to primary and secondary schools in their provinces after graduation to ensure that they have jobs. You need a two-way choice between schools and students (this is very important, and it is really not easy to get the compilation)

3. Adjustment of service period: before adjustment, the service education period was ten years, but now it is six years. Wow, time is shortened and more space is given to children.

Fourth, about breach of contract.

1. Normal students at public expense should strictly fulfill the agreement. Those who fail to engage in primary and secondary education as agreed must refund the public education fees they enjoy and pay liquidated damages. (Hum! Give me back all the money I spent! )

2. Education administrative departments at all levels should establish and improve the performance dynamic tracking management mechanism of public-funded normal students, and establish the integrity files of public-funded normal students (note that this is an account for you, which may have an impact on the recruitment of civil servants).

And:

1. A free education agreement for normal students must be signed among the three parties: the normal university under the Ministry and the provincial education administrative department where the students are located. Sign it, you are my man, you can't just run away! )

2. Is the subsidy paid less?

For example, according to the relevant documents in Shandong Province, the subsidy for normal students is 4,000 yuan per person per year (that is, the standard in 400 yuan is 10 month per month, which is quite beautiful, which means that you start earning money when you go to school).

3. According to statistics, by the end of 20 17, there were10/0000 free students enrolled in normal schools, 3 10000 students were enrolled, and 70000 students graduated, 90% of whom went to teach in primary and secondary schools in central and western provinces. Many primary and secondary schools in the central and western regions have achieved zero breakthrough in enrolling graduates from Beijing Normal University and East China Normal University. Wow, it's rare to be a baby! )

4. Regarding whether it is possible to take the postgraduate entrance examination: it is necessary to combine the policies of various provinces. Some provinces will require students to sign relevant agreements before taking the postgraduate entrance examination, and continue to return to their own province for education after the study. Some provinces are not allowed to take postgraduate entrance examinations, but they can take on-the-job postgraduate examinations.

5. About whether it is necessary to teach in villages and towns: This question is also related to the requirements of provincial policies. Generally speaking, there is no need to worry. Graduates from six normal universities directly under the Ministry of Education will be treasured by provincial capitals, and are generally not the grassroots below. You are precious, so you can't rob them. At the same time, there are also local special free normal students in their own normal colleges (the second batch) in each province. Graduates at this level are going to work as teachers in township-level schools.

Please also note:

Many people will confuse this publicly-funded normal student with the publicly-funded normal student in the province.

The difference lies in: Normal students at public expense refer to the free education of students in normal universities directly under the Ministry of Education, while colleges directly under the Ministry of Education refer to Beijing Normal University, East China Normal University, Northeast Normal University, Huazhong Normal University, Shaanxi Normal University and Southwest University. Later, some local normal universities also included this policy.

The "three-oriented" policy of training rural primary school teachers is more comprehensive. The so-called "three orientations" refers to "targeted enrollment, targeted training, and targeted employment", which only enrolls students in the province.
