Brief Introduction of Shahe Campus of Central University of Finance and Economics
Shahe Campus of the Central University of Finance and Economics is located in the northeast of Shahe Higher Education Park in Changping District, Beijing, with the Sixth Ring Road in the north, Shunsha Road in the south and Huichang Road in the east. The total area is about 1 184.7 mu. The first and second phases of the first phase of the project have been completed, and the construction area is about160,000 square meters, which can accommodate nearly 7,000 students. Shahe Campus is about 30 kilometers away from Xueyuan South Road Campus and 7 kilometers away from Changping District Center. Shahe Campus is an important achievement of Central University of Finance and Economics in expanding school space. The Central University of Finance and Economics has a good reputation for running a school and a strong faculty, but the small campus area seriously restricts the further development of the school. With the strong support of the Ministry of Education, Beijing and Changping District, the Central University of Finance and Economics and the People's Government of Changping District signed the Land Allocation Agreement of Beijing Shahe Higher Education Park on March 14, 2003, which made a good start in the construction of Shahe Campus.

After the application for construction land was approved by the Beijing Municipal People's Government, on September 8, 2007, the groundbreaking ceremony of Shahe Campus was held in Shahe Higher Education Park, Changping District. Relevant leaders from the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Education Commission of Beijing Municipal Committee and Changping District Government attended the groundbreaking ceremony. Accompanied by school leaders, the leaders laid the foundation stone for the construction of the new campus. The Central University of Finance and Economics has gradually developed the construction of Shahe new campus by means of phased implementation and organic combination of functions in each stage. In the process of construction, careful organization, strict requirements and attention to details. After nearly two years of hard work, the first and second phases of the first phase of Shahe Campus of Central University of Finance and Economics were completed. Built buildings include: 1 bishop building, 8 college buildings, 2 canteens (including Muslim canteens), 1 student activity center, 13 dormitory building, temporary library, sports facilities, infirmary, etc. The architectural style is fresh and beautiful, simple and smart, natural and elegant, which embodies the design theme of ecological campus, humanistic campus and green campus.

In September, 2009, nearly 4,500 students from Grade 2008 and Grade 2009 moved into Shahe Campus, marking the official opening of Shahe Campus. By 20 1 1 10, Shahe Campus has accommodated 6,800 students in three grades. At this stage, the school adopts the unified management mode of two campuses, and sets up the Shahe campus office according to the actual needs, which is responsible for the comprehensive coordination of the daily management of Shahe campus and ensures the orderly operation of Shahe campus.

According to the school development plan, Shahe Campus will be put into use as the main campus after its completion. By then, the construction area of the teaching and research area, living area and sports area of the new campus will reach more than 400,000 square meters, and the number of students will reach10.4 million, achieving the goal of high-standard, modern and garden-style campus construction.
