The University of Twente (UT) is the only campus university in the Netherlands (covering an area of about 300 acres, with 2,000 staff and student dormitories, 100 buildings). The school is located in the central and eastern Netherlands, near the German border. It takes only two hours (every half hour) to get to our school by train from the national main airport, and it is very convenient to go to major famous cities in Europe. It is a university with innovative consciousness and research orientation in technology and social sciences, and pursues Excellence and innovation through inter-disciplinary cooperation. Although it is one of the youngest and smallest universities in the Netherlands, it is recognized as one of the highest quality universities.

The original 10 departments of Trent University (6 departments of engineering technology and 4 departments of social management) were reorganized and integrated into 5 colleges (3 colleges of engineering technology and 2 schools of behavior management) with reference to the structure of American universities, and then merged into 6 colleges (ITC), forming 6 colleges of Trent University.
