QS usually refers to the QS World University Ranking, which is the annual world university ranking published by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS for short), a British international education market consulting company. QS Company initially cooperated with Times Higher Education (referred to as THE), and jointly launched the -QS World University Ranking, which was first released in 2004 and is an earlier global university ranking. Since 20 10, QS and began to publish their respective world university rankings.
QS World University Ranking 20 10 is recognized by the IREG- International Academic Ranking and Excellence Association established by the International University Ranking Expert Group (IREG), and it is one of the most influential rankings in the world. Together with Times Higher Education World University Ranking, American News World University Ranking and World University Soft Science Academic Ranking, it is recognized as the four more authoritative world university rankings.
