The development of history
Zhengzhou University, founded in 1956, is the first comprehensive university founded by the state after the founding of New China. The former Zhengzhou Teachers College merged 196 1, and Huanghe University merged 19 1. Medical education in Zhengzhou University originated from the National Fifth Sun Yat-sen University 1928. 1952 established Henan medical college independently, and 1984 changed its name to Henan medical university. Zhengzhou University of Technology, founded in 1963, is a key university directly under the former Ministry of Chemical Industry. In July 2000, the former Zhengzhou University, Zhengzhou University of Technology and Henan Medical University merged to form the new Zhengzhou University.
