Chongqing Vocational Tourism College was established in March, 20 10. It is a public higher vocational college approved by Chongqing Municipal People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education. The school is located in Qianjiang District, Chongqing. The motto of the school is "cultivate one's ambition, use art, use art"

By September 2022, the school building area was 6,543,800+6,000 square meters. According to the idea of professional construction with tourism as the main category, national culture as the feature and smart tourism as the support, there are six major professional groups, including "business and tourism management, art and cultural tourism, foreign languages and foreign-related tourism, finance and tourism business, intelligent manufacturing and tourism transportation, big data and smart tourism", tourism management and hotel management.

Among them, hotel management and tourism management are the backbone majors at the municipal level, and arts and crafts design is "the first batch of 100 national vocational colleges' national cultural heritage and innovation demonstration professional points". There are more than 500 faculty members.

The College has signed educational cooperation agreements with California San Jose State University, Cambodia University of Management and Economics, and students go to Qatar, United Arab Emirates and other countries to study. And with Southwest University and other universities to carry out "full-time" and "self-study" education cooperation agreements, laying the foundation for students to further enhance their academic qualifications.
