Beihang University is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, ranking among the first-class universities in the world, and 2 1 1 engineering and 985 engineering key universities.
Beihang University was founded in 1952, formerly known as Beihang University. It was formed by the merger of Tsinghua University, Beiyang University, Xiamen University and Sichuan University, and was renamed Beihang University in April 1988.
2. Beijing Institute of Technology:
Beijing Institute of Technology, formerly known as the Academy of Natural Sciences, was founded in Yan 'an 1940. After the Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei Border Region Industrial School and North China University Engineering College were successfully established, they were set up in Beijing on 1949, taking over the headquarters of Sino-French University and the three departments of mathematical physics and chemistry. 1952 was named Beijing Institute of Technology, and 1988 was renamed Beijing Institute of Technology.
3. Harbin Institute of Technology:
The school was founded on 1920. 195 1 was identified as one of the two model universities in China to learn from foreign higher education. 1954 ranks among the first batch of six key universities in China (the only one outside Beijing), and it is the first science and engineering university in New China to directly award graduates the title of engineer and three-year graduate students. 1996 entered the first batch of key construction universities in the national "2 1 1 project".
4. Harbin Engineering University:
The school originated from China People's Liberation Army Military Engineering College (Harbin Military Industry) founded by 1953; 1970, Harbin Institute of Shipbuilding Engineering, with the naval engineering department as the main body, was established in the original site of Harbin military industry; 198 1 became the first unit with the right to confer doctoral and master's degrees; 1994, renamed Harbin Engineering University.
5. Northwestern Polytechnical University:
Northwestern Polytechnical University is located in Xi City, the capital of Shaanxi Province, directly under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China and directly under the deputy ministerial system. 7. Nanjing University of Science and Technology:
Nanjing University of Science and Technology, located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and jointly established by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Jiangsu Province. It is a national "world-class discipline construction university" and a national "2 1 1 engineering" and "985 engineering advantage discipline innovation platform" key construction university.
